Echoes of the Essence

Dive into this apparently infinite dungeon, where there's no sign of external light and there are many things lurking in the shadows. Your lantern has the power of focusing light into a concentrated path, raising the temperature of everything it touches!

Entry participation for Brackey's community 2023.2 Game Jam on August 2023. The theme was "Diving deeper" and even though that theme probably reminds you more of a subaquatic kind of game, I thought I could give it a spin by making it symbolize "diving"  into the darkness and "deeper" into an infinite dungeon.

I had more ideas to better utilize the theme but they were scrapped due to the time limit (Game jam was 1 week).
